“He was praying in a certain place, and after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.’ He said to them, ‘When you pray, say:
Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us.
And do not bring us to the time of trial.’

We welcome you to our Sunday service, in-person or online. We hope that how ever you worship, you feel that you are a part of our community of faith. When we gather we become the body of Christ and can work together to offer hope to those in need of it the most. As a community we care for each other and are stronger with the Spirit directing us all.

This week our service is modelled on the Taizé style of worship. The Taizé Community is a Christian, ecumenical, monastic fraternity located in the Burgundy region of France. It began during WWII, and part of its early work was sheltering and helping war refugees. The community grew from a small group of individuals committing to living in the spirit of of simplicity, kindness, peace, justice and reconciliation, to a global movement with the same goals. Worship services are simple and meditative, focusing on prayers, readings and short, simple songs often based on Psalms.

There will be no organ prelude this week, but a time of quiet reflection will begin around 10:25 a.m. and the service will commence at 10:30 a.m.  The link for this morning’s service is:  https://youtube.com/live/FUMOU8EAdT4?feature=share
