On this fifth Sunday of Lent, we hear how two of his disciples ask Jesus for favoured positions beside him in glory, to which Jesus replies with a question for them, ‘Are you able to drink the cup that I drink?’. It is a question that Jesus asks of us now. The sermon will include gleanings from the writing of Henri Nouwen on the spiritual life.

If you are able and wishing to attend in person, please review the mandatory protocols detailed in the previous post and in the link found under ‘Special Events’ to the right, ‘Re-Opening the Sanctuary’.
